communications ministry wants to build highway along the 32.5 km (20 miles) in Dhaka which connects the northern part of the city to the central business district, south and southeast.

“Dhaka elevated expressway” will increase the road connectivity, where the streets of the region is currently only taking eight percent of the Dhaka area compared with the “ideal” 25 percent.

Dhaka says that the population of 13 million is expected to double over the next 20 years it is very important and look for solutions to overcome congestion in the streets of the city
